August 2018: Total eclipse of the heart: the power of love.
August intention: I am confident in my highest voice and trust the desires of my heart to guide me in success, abundance and unconditional love.
Themes for August: We are being called to love more, do more, and be more. Sometimes when we ‘think big’, a re-structuring is in order. A third and final Jupiter/Saturn semi-square makes it’s pass September 3rd, and we will have access to the lessons in this area all month: massive growth is tempered by order.
Now is the time to rise to the occasion of our lives. How can you help create Peace on Earth with the power of your unique sacred flame? When major life events surface on the 11th (Partial Solar Eclipse), during a significant Jupiter/Neptune trine, we are asked to cultivate and refine our heart energy. What’s really important to you? Venus in Libra calls in similar energy, suggesting a need for equilibrium among our relationships.
Redefining our love energy goes a level deeper when we Uranus, the planet of genius, brilliance, and big surprises goes retrograde August 7 – January 7, 2019. Consider what “towers” you need to kick down (but don’t make any big moves yet). This tower you’re about to tear down may shock everyone around you. Green lights come on to start demolition and rebuild when Uranus goes direct in January. Ruthless dedication to a total healing transformation from a Pluto/Chiron quintile in early September supports the large Uranian waves of transformation as well.
A retrograde Mars enters Capricorn this month. You may notice rigidity in those who don’t know how to handle this type of energy. Well, Uranus, the planet of shock and awe goes retrograde at 2 Taurus today and stays retrograde until January 7, 2019. Be aware of any part of yourself that you may be bottling up which actually wants to rebel, seek freedom, and be heard. The revolution is within you. Think about what towers you need to kick down while Uranus is retrograde, and then start the action of demolition and rebuilding work when Uranus goes direct in January.
Added tension and self-criticism in the airwaves stems from a Venus/Chiron opposition, a Mars/Neptune semi-square, and a Sun/Mercury conjunction. With this Mercury retrograde pass, you’re looking for patterns and themes wherever 11-Leo is in your chart. For example, 11-Leo is in my 9th house of publishing.
