Mars opposite Saturn became exact in the wee hours of the morning today. This aspect may have been responsible for any nonsensical violence, some ‘stop and go’ and a general feeling of ‘hurry up and wait’ over the last week. And with the Moon void of course this afternoon, let’s all take it easy this Memorial Day. If you have big plans, be sure to take all safety precautions.
Tuesday night Mars will sextile Uranus and you might find some new ideas and mental clarity. There is a certain electricity in the air that energizes you to engage in clever conversation, explore nontraditional approaches, and ignite a big idea. It’s the right time to put new plans into motion.
Wednesday morning Mercury will trine Pluto while the Moon is void of course. Feng Shui your space to beautify, create flow for clear thinking, and pave the way for transformation. You won’t be disappointed if you engage in the arts today: schedule a photo shoot, take a calligraphy class, or pen a poem. Use the power of your mind to engage your dream lifetstyle with a new board on pinterest, making a vision board, or writing in your journal. Luna will enter Virgo and you’ll find yourself wanting to organize all the art supplies too (wink!).
On Thursday, Venus will trine Saturn midday. This aspect suggests you pay attention to the guidance of an older woman. It’s also a good aspect for making a relationship “official” or even a marriage date as it amplifies a love that lasts. Another approach to interpreting Venus trine Saturn is that issues around love and money are stabilized today: you can fall in love with what you do, and you can get paid for it.
Thursday afternoon, Mars will sextile Neptune, energizing your big dreams. Albert Einstein said, “Nothing changes until something moves.” If plans have been delayed or you’ve been waiting for the right timing, this afternoon is a great time to put something into motion.
Mars will square Chiron in the wee hours of Friday morning. Watch out for issues of abuse, negative impulses, or being wound so tightly that something explodes. Take care of your emotional and/or physical scars with compassionate self-care.
On Saturday, Venus will conjunct Uranus in the wee morning hours. On the extreme end, you could get carried away with a whirlwind romance. But generally speaking, this aspect is good for social events, networking in large groups, and spending time with friends and loved ones. If there’s an oddball thing to do Saturday morning, sign your friends up to participate. The energy available encourages you to do something different.
The Sun will trine Jupiter midday and you’ll get some good news. You have good luck this afternoon and your self-confidence is on high. This is a great afternoon for beauty treatments, legal issues, and religious events.
Early-early Sunday morning, Venus will trine the North Node while we are still dreaming sweet dreams. Breakfast in bed anyone? You may want to spend the whole day in bed as the Sun will square Neptune and Mars will enter Cancer today, both of which are somewhat draining aspects. Are you getting in the way of your own dreams and goals? Are you having a creative block?
Mars in Cancer is not a super comfortable placement. Mars wants to go, do, be, act, now-now-now. If the energy of Mars is mostly outward, the energy of Cancer is mostly inward. This can result in passive-aggressive behavior, emotional outbursts, and that feeling of simultaneously wanting to play but not wanting to leave the house. Just be aware of an inner push-pull and the need to act according to your mood until July 20th when Mars moves signs again.
